International project for a nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to increase career opportunities for the 71 million adults in the U.S. who do not have a four-year college degree but are Skilled Through Alternative Routes (STARs) in the United States.


Responsibilities

The Python Developer is responsible for the implementation and support of the back-end of their Talent Marketplace.


What is expected of you for success in your role:

  • Build and maintain customized systems using Python
  • Plan and implement enhancements, and in some cases, new products
  • Study, analyze, and implement the use of low-code and no-code tools as part of the development strategy along with the team
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Establish additional internal development tools, workflows, and policies


Requirements (Must have)

  • Fluent English (able to speak and understand)
  • 2+ years as a software developer (1+ year working with Python)
  • Availability to learn low-code and no-code tools as part of the development strategy
  • Experience with software development Agile projects
  • Familiarity with automated testing platforms
  • Experience in developing APIs
  • Experience in using relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience working with and maintaining scalable web applications
  • Good communication, teamwork, and transparency skills


Requirements (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with low-code tools (Locofy, Outsystems, Wappler, Vinyl, etc.) and/or no-code tools (Bubble, Flutterflow, Quest, Anvil, etc.)

  • Knowledge in React.js
